The Wife joined me for my early walk today and it was marvelous strolling through the darkened streets, hand-in-hand as we always tend to be. We’ve been together almost 20 years, so extended silences are not uncommon as we wandered. It’s the kind of comfort that I hold most dear. Although she hates it when people use diminutives, this is for Susan.
