I decided to try and finish off a number of games I had started on the Switch but never completed whilst back in Aotearoa. I completed #DeadlyPremonition2 (terrible; don't play, even if you love the first game as I do) and now I'm at the end of #LinksAwakening.

Still thinking about #DeadlyPremonition2. The way it ends somewhat overwrites the end of the first game, which managed to be very bittersweet. Yet the continuation of the story is also quite off-putting. It really does leave a sour taste in one’s mouth

The problem with #DeadlyPremonition2 (other than the dreadful gameplay; something the original also had) is that it is trying to be both a prequel and a sequel to the original game when it would have been better to just be another weird story

I benchmarked Deadly Premonition 2 on Switch 2 and yeahhhhhh. It's better but just falls short, amongst other lingering issues, due to being very unoptimized
