Finally, a painted miniature this year!!!
#1 on the year is a DKOK Combat Engineer, a test model for the Combat Patrol scheme.
Went with the traditional blue, since Army Painter offers a decent spray can for it.

A quad barreled Hydra flak emplacement on a cruciform mount, painted in a grey and green camouflage scheme.

Finished the flak emplacement from the Saturnine box, which I've converted to be a modular Krieg gun position. It can either mount the flak Hydra from the box, or this Earthshaker cannon from a previous conversion.

A wide shot of a U-shaped gaming board. The ground is icy, and on the near side (along the bottom of the U) is a ruined city with a Death Korps regiment deployed. On the two prongs of the U are a more rural, rocky area with a huge horde of Tyranids approaching.
The left flank of the Krieg deployment - Basilisks and Field Guns at the back, with tanks and infantry among the buildings towards the front.
The Tyranid swarm - a huge number of Gaunts! They are beautifully painted, in a blue colour scheme with crab-like spots on the carapace.
A Tyranid Hierophant Bio-Titan, an enormous four-legged Tyranid monster with gargantuan claws and huge bio weapons.
