Last night I found 25 Del Amitri / Justin Currie songs that are perfect for #DelAmitriAdvent Songs full of that festive melancholy that suit Christmas TV adverts. You can imagine a synopsis for each one. Christmas songs that aren't Christmas songs. First one tomorrow is a real tear jerker.
I'm thinking of doing a Del Amitri / Justin Currie advent during December. A song a day that could be a John Lewis Christmas advert song. The bleak beauty of Curries writing absolutely lends itself to that festive melancholy they rely on. I reckon I can find 25. #DelAmitriAdvent
