How come #CrossCountry is allowed to have separate rules for #DelayRepay. It is ludicrous. The business standard seems to be 15, 30 etc but not for cross country. I bet it is because they go broke.
My journey from Derby to Bristol was not only delayed but also so full people had to stand everywhere.
You. Could. Not. Make. This. Up.
It’s no wonder GWR pay out £26m p.a. in Delay Repay is it? Another day, another claim.
#AwayDays #DelayRepay
There will presumably be an element of #DelayRepay?
Yet another day of it. Yesterday the level crossing broke down at Poole. I turned round and went home.
It’s getting to a point where the trains can no longer be trusted. Some disruption is inevitable, of course, but every single day?!
My travel has been mostly free for months now #DelayRepay.
Sounds like a #delayrepay claim waiting to happen. Looks as if things are a bit messy this morning my.live-departures.info/Todmorden/
There’s almost certainly going to be some #DelayRepay in this.
#DelayRepay Roulette?
I’d imagine apart from the refunds there’s a decent amount of #DelayRepay to be had there.
Well… #DelayRepay means you’ll be getting that back (which I appreciate is small comfort)
Victory 💪🏻 #DelayRepay
A secondary thought: Avanti, into Euston and back-bound to be late or a cancellation somewhere #DelayRepay! 😁
I get so frustrated that we even have to do #delayrepay. The tech is there to automatically refund us - and instantly instead of 30 days or whatever it is. The tech seems to be set up so that we pay everything in an instant, tickets are checked etc yet refunds are a pain in the a*se.
The statutory #DelayRepay mechanism for UK train company #GreatWesternRailway in effect via their website is almost certainly designed to be deliberately oibfuscatory to put people off making legitimate claims when suffering delayed trains.
Incredibly poor UX. I can't imagine many people […]
One name is "Great Western Railway".
Another might be "Great Pain Railway". Really enjoyed - NOT - standing 50 minutes from Paddington to Reading on a five-carriage train that should have been 10 carriages.
Another Sunday spent on #DelayRepay coming up...
Letting the train take the strain. #DelayRepay roulette has begun 🤦♂️
SouthernRailway #delayrepay:
"Please note that you can only upload one image per single claim, so you will need to scan the tickets onto a single page and upload as one image or add another claim by using the button."
Very user-friendly
Am I a small minority that when a train is late I'm gutted it's not over 15 mins late #delayrepay
It’s the 1453. This is where I currently am. #delayrepay
Oh, hello #delayrepay, how I’ve missed your little payouts #AvantiWestCoast
One of the marvels of long-distance train travel in the UK is that you don’t know what it cost until it’s over #DelayRepay
You could have used the time to complete your #delayrepay claim
A total of 2 hours of delays today across a return trip from Broadstairs to London. The same trip on Saturday was so delayed I got my whole fare refunded. This is why I would normally drive everywhere. #southeasternrailways #networkrail #delayrepay
This is very good and, sadly, absolutely spot on.
The HS2 consequential issue is an absolute scandal and the volte face on this from #welshlabour is really poor form.
On the plus side, I’ve made a ton over the last couple of weeks on #delayrepay. Silver linings …
Inconsistencies in #delayrepay London Northwestern allows claims for 15 mins and more. Cross Country is 30 mins or more. @joshnewburymp.bsky.social does the Passenger Railway Services (Public Ownership) Act 2024 iron out these differences?
New record for #delayrepay for me: 49p.
That feeling when you arrive at your final destination and it is only 1-2 minutes beyond the Delay Repay window to activate for your train.
Maximum reward for minimum inconvenience. Feels good.
#DelayRepay #NationalRail
An intercity return rail journey which doesn’t involve #DelayRepay is a pleasant novelty.
Once again demonstrating that there’s no way of knowing how much a UK train journey will cost until it’s over #DelayRepay
I don’t know, 75-80% of the time it’s fine and maybe I price it in.
Even with #DelayRepay roulette it’s more relaxing (and for the journey I did yesterday, faster) than driving, and I wouldn’t want to do Edinburgh as a day run by car.
