Demolition Atlas Europe launched: CORRECTIV investigates demolitions across Europe In this investigative project, we'll uncover the ecological, social and cultural consequences of demolition.

In cooperation with European media, we @correctiv.org intend to shed light on the demolition of buildings – a virtually unregulated mass phenomenon that to date has received too little attention, despite the many problems it causes.

Across Europe, tens of thousands of buildings are demolished each year. This demolition frenzy has serious social & environmental implications, from enormous CO2 emissions and waste generation to rising rental costs and a loss of cultural heritage.
