We made it! We are the first people to drive an unmodified, cheap, compact, EV to the Arctic Ocean via the Dempster Highway!
The remote, arctic, 500-mile dirt Dempster Highway is infamous for being a challenge for gas and diesel vehicles and it terminates in Tuktoyaktuk, Canada on the shores of the Arctic Ocean.

I am driving my economy, standard range electric vehicle 8,000 miles (12,000 km) to the Arctic Ocean and back with no backup generator. 1,000 miles (1,600km) of which are dirt road and wilderness. Join me as I begin a world’s first attempt for a Bolt--an EV with a poor road tripping reputation.
