I will always proceed though a worksite vs risking my life with drivers on a multi-lane road like Preston.

We need a shift in #Ottawa where residents(esp children) are given the same rights as construction workers around car traffic.

Me: "where do I go?"
Contractor: "to Preston St."
Me: "is there a bike lane set up?"
Contractor: "no. Feel free to use the sidewalk. Good luck!"

City staff did a great job winter maintaining the street where there SHOULD be a construction detour for 🧑‍🦼🚶‍♀️.

So I made it a little more official using materials on site.😉
