And again in January we lost Melanie (Safka) at 76. I confess to having had a wee crush on her at the age of 14 or 15 I think. I suspect I was not alone.

Also in January we lost Peter Schickele at 88. He was perhaps better knows as #PDQBach and he had a somewhat alternative take on the œuvre of the great Baroque composer.
