TIL that when Peter Schickele was to premier PDQ Bach's "Concerto for Horn & Hardart", Philip Glass & colleagues, putting the "instrument" together, decided to make it a transposing instrument, forcing Schickele to sight-read the transposed part. Hilarity ensued.
