Sonnet A digital illustration of my Dungeons & Dragons character Sonnet, a Bladesinging wizard. She’s a warforged, meaning technically a robot, but is designed much like a ball-joint doll and dressed as a ballerina. Her skin is pure white with a pattern of royal blue flowers and vines, in the style of Chinoiserie pottery. She has a simple ‘hair’style of the same blue, with a few curls framing her face and elflike pointed ears. In place of a traditional ballerina bun, there’s a golden armillary sphere in the back. Her facial features are soft, her mouth curved upward in a slight smile, while her eyes glow softly silver. There are two strands of pearls around her neck. She wears a classic ballet costume in a light mint green, including a lace-trimmed bodice and broad tutu. In the center of her torso is a cutout revealing her inner workings, covered in a pane of glass. Within, a music box mechanism can be seen. Finally, her legs give the illusion of ribboned pointe shoes with a golden sheen. She’s holding a silver rapier in one hand and is surrounding by swirling lines of musical notes, suggesting her music box is playing and her Bladesong is active.
Anyway, this is Sonnet, my little warforged Bladesinging wizard~
She’s a sweet Southern Belle (think Benoit Blanc’s accent 🤭) and still a little naïve, but I’m in love with her anyway. 🥰
