[blink blink] she can fall asleep SO easily. It’s an incredible feat, and she used to conk out when Luther and Mike were panhandling out at Factoria Blvd and the freeway, which is like one of the busiest, loudest intersections in Seattle.

She just sat like this for a couple of minutes. I don’t notice at first, but she’ll do it until she gets a scritch.

I just told her, as we parted ways, “You’re so awesome, Show. I think you’re the best dog in the world, and I want you to know that,” and she seemed to appreciate it. I also didn’t make her wait longer than it took to snap this photo before giving her the back scritches she craved. Mike will usually finish whatever he’s doing, which I’m always aghast at.
