Our old Delaware State House dates from the time of the US Capitol construction. Legislative Hall was built about 100 years ago and it has a larger public meeting arena than the original “TheGreen” this is in front of Old State House. I used to play when photo ap Snapseed first came out as it would make photos interesting in a more painterly way. Nicholas our cat loves to sleep on an old Victorian sofa and this room gets great morning light. I’ve been an artist since the 80’s professionally. If you’re in Delaware stop by the historic district and meet me. We don’t have a large working artist base at this point in town but we have several great museums and art abounds. Somewhere I have canvas with this basic idea sketched in of this main gallery. I named it after Annie Jump Cannon. She is Delaware’s most famous woman. Don’t ask them as they often confuse her with an ax murderer from downstate. Dover is the capital and Annie’s dad also voted to keep Delaware with the north. In fact the whole Delmarva Peninsula is mentioned in the Emancipation Proclamation. And we have Nicholas who is our #gallery #.
