CIÉ 124 - Downpatrick and County Down Railway 121 class locomotive 124 is one of 15 121 class locomotives built by General Motors for CIÉ in 1960 and operated on the Irish Rail system until 2008.

Details opening hours for men and women, and charges for different times of day ranging from 1/3d down to 6d. In the ladies bath, children under 10 were charged at half price, and those under 4 were admitted free. Shampooing cost 3d. extra. [The baths were not, of course, open on Sunday.]

#onthisday, 9 November 1861, Mr J Wilson opened #TurkishBaths at 15 English Street, #Downpatrick, Ireland. Little is known about them apart from what is in the advert announcing their opening.
