Proud Mama Moment! This two-dog team just had their best run EVER. Wylie has never performed that well—for that long. A four mile run at nearly 8mph. Both were laser focused. Partly due to new (to us) trail, but mostly due to their hard work this fall! (1/2)

First run of the year is on the books.
They did *incredible*. Zero cobwebs between those ears—right back in it as if it was February of last year when we were training daily. Super impressed.

We met up with some friends we met at local dryland events, for an “end of season” run. They were very patient stopping and giving us chances to catch up, & Wolfy had a blast chasing (even if she was a bit of a snot with her friends in the parking lot).

Wolfy and I scouted a new (to us) rail trail today, east out of Moosup CT. It’s paved and/or currently under construction to be paved soon, so I’m going to scout a bit farther east over the Rhode Island border to find some gravel sections for future use. #drylandmushing
