I was just out in the backyard and I told my wife "man, it's so nice here, it's a little brisk but it's almost warm, and it's so refreshing".

Man, the hits keep coming. The Snoqualmie river here in #DuvallWA is at about 41.2 feet (the epic flood in December 2025 was about 45 feet).

The little #PNW town I live in is not famous for *anything* except the "Piano Drop" in #DuvallWA associated with a Country Joe and the Fish concert in 1968.
Even my dad had heard of that. RIP Country Joe (and also, recently, my dad).

Seeing the lightest of snow fall here in Duvall, WA. I think this is the first time I've seen snow fall since last winter (nearly a year).
My new-to-the PNW California immigrant dog is unimpressed with the weather. Potty, then back inside.

I don't think there was any damage nearby, but the power grid is surprisingly fragile and things can go offline easily.
#infrastructure is awesome, I think I would have enjoyed civil engineering/electrical engineering a lot.
