The EU faces a stalemate over appointing a new European Data Protection Supervisor, with Wojciech Wiewiórowski's term expired. Disagreements between lawmakers and member states complicate the selection, impacting data protection policy and advocacy. #EDPS #Privacy #DataProtection

This seems to also be the language or close to it on EU sites, which puts it solidly in breach of EU regulation so hopefully @egair.eu has it on its radar.

#EDPS is unnecessarily difficult to reach but perhaps @hennavirkkunen.bsky.social can get that changed to help small and individual creators.
