The Retell in Rhyme recipe card
With state testing giving me just one class to teach today, I modified my plans in honor of @scottmpetri.bsky.social today. For the 1st time ever, I rolled out the Retell In Rhyme #EduProtocol to cover a slew of vocabulary. Some growing pains but some really good first time efforts. #EduSky
Tried out an awesome #eduprotocol Rack and Stack today:
Fast & Curious → Edpuzzle + Thin Slide → Number Mania → Nacho Paragraph.
Each step built off the last and it was brought it all together with a nacho paragraph in Short Answer.

Finished reading Act I of the Diary of Anne Frank play, so I’m asking my students to complete a Depth & Complexity chart before we move on to Act II! But first, I asked students to brainstorm ideas with a Wicked Hydra activity. 🐙 #EduSky #EduProtocol
I tried a new #Eduprotocol today. Emoji Escapades. Students used the Emoji Kitchen site to combine 2 emojis that could describe a cause of the Great Depression. They had to explain why they chose those emojis.
Use @padlet.com to collect final writing pieces in one. This was a cyber sandwich #Eduprotocol on the geography of ancient Egypt.

Today my students did a Frayer to practice their health and sickness vocabulary. When done with their slide, they had to go to 2 other slides and use the expression in the middle in a sentence in a comment. My students love this #Eduprotocol. 😎
Students draw in response to a question or a prompt-then they write (to explain) and then they share with a partner and/or the class.They can do this for vocabulary and different concepts.It's an #Eduprotocol. My daughters also use with 2nd graders and alegebra 1. 😎
Introduced our novel that takes place during medieval times & the Ss made quick #Sketchnotes about the feudal power structure. Created my own version of an #EDUProtocol to practice short answer responses using the RACE model. #Edusky @eduprotocols.bsky.social @carriebaughcum.bsky.social
