Day 2 of #EFYE2025 was another packed day of learning, laughing, and connecting.
Great sessions on student transitions, buddy programmes, and simplifying the student experience.
Plus a great dinner at De Hoorn Brewery

The European First Year Experience Conference #efye2025 is the 1st conference I've been able to travel to outside of the UK in 6 years & I'm so pleased I made it. Not just because of the free Belgian chocolate but also the mix of delegates & different types of sessions. Highly recommend!

It's something we work hard to try and achieve...sometimes we get it right and then the magic happens where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts! Due, in no small part, to wonderful presenters 😎
And as you have said - we also need thinking &consolidation time to process the ideas for our own contexts. #EFYE2025 One thing we used to do was block a half day after good conferences back at base to choose which ideas we wanted to run with & to identify a lead and a plan for each.
