#EO9066 stripped #FredKorematsu of his rights as a US citizen w/o #dueprocess. It took significant bravery for him to refuse the order, esp when his family complied & many in the Jpnse community thought he’d make things harder for them. If he complied, he would be sent to an internment camp;

This should be interesting.

An extension of the "memory hole" attitude that explains why we didn’t learn about Japanese incarceration in high school. All legitimate, documented, extended moments of shame in US history are being cleansed, 1984-style.
