Awesome - we can see the effectiveness of #MPA sites by looking at shifts in size distributions over time https://cdmcd.co/KG3Lx6 #ESA2021 - always a delight to hear @j_wilson_white talk.

And really wild to see how it took 7-10 years to really see effects. I worked on this data when it was 2-3 years in, and the variability and difficulty in teasing out patterns was wild. #LongTermExperiments MATTER! And reveal new things we'd otherwise miss! #ESA2021
