I heard @historiamagoria.bsky.social talk about this research at #eseh2025 this summer, wonderful to see a post on it before the holidays! #envhist

🌍 At ESEH 2025 in Uppsala, our researchers Nataša Henig Miščič, Ivan Smiljanič, Marta Rendla, and Sara Šifrar Krajnik presented their work on floods and hydropower. The conference offered valuable insights into environmental history.

A highlight of #ESEH2025: the Polar Bear Swim! Was so great to meet so many other swimmers - by FAR the biggest conference swim to date!
Thank you #ESEH2025 for a fantastic conference in Uppsala, with stimulating sessions like this one in the Humanities Theater about ‘New Histories of Climate Denialism.’ It’s amazing to see how the society is flourishing almost 25 years after our first gathering in St. Andrew’s in 2001!
Still decompressing from #ESEH2025 week but hey was it good!

Huge thank you to @eseh.bsky.social & local @uu.se organisers for an amazing #ESEH2025. Seeing old friends & meeting new people; great research & wonderful art.
With just under a year of my contract left and the job market being what it is this may have been my last ESEH conf - but it was good :)
And it’s a wrap on #ESEH2025!
What an honour to have been part of the panel “From the Inside Out: The Environmental and Health Implications of Regulating the Indoor Environment” featuring dusty, hot, and cold homes across the 19th and 20th centuries in Germany, France and Britain
What a treat it was to have attended #ESEH2025 in Uppsala! A tremendous conference overflowing with knowledge and insights shared by inspiring and generous people! This #PlantEnthusiast and #MuseumNerd is now heading back home full of ideas and enthusiasm!
Thank you so much @eseh.bsky.social & local organisers @uu.se for yet another fabulous conference. Seeing long-time friends, making new ones, listening to great papers, being part of a lovely panel & producing a pop-up exhibition has been an absolute blast. See you all soon. 🤗

Spam publisher email offering to publish a full length paper from our social event abstract.
Hey #eseh2025, I’m looking for co-authors among the people who came for beers at the Greenhouse social event, here’s a chance to write it all up as a full-length paper! 😂
So many things happening during #eseh2025, but for now:
🚨NEW PUBLICATION🚨
In “The pollution-industrial complex and the making of Denmark as an environmental frontrunner, 1965-1975”
we explore how environmental regulation became a matter of technology rather than strict (and strictly) regulation.
Impressions from #eseh2025: a speech by Linnaeus himself, grandiose academic architecture and a quaint natural history museum. But, above all, wonderfully engaging panels and workshops. And, abover all, catching up with old and new friends. Many thanks to the organizers!

On my way home after a good but intense week at #eseh2025. Very fittingly, the rain is pouring down and all the planes are delayed at Arlanda. The fun is over! Hoping we can make the logistics of going to #eseh2027 in Salzburg work. #envhist
Great panel on the #Anthropocene in the last session of #eseh2025 ✨️

Honored to receive the 2025 bristol-bern prize for public environmental history from @eseh.bsky.social ! #ESEH2025
Justin Robert’s paper & comments wear read by Linda & Petter respectively as there is currently industrial action at his university. #ESEH2025 is of course happening during times of great disruptions in academia.
