A slightly crumpled missed delivery card that is a symbol of frustration as the neighbours at No 12 have gone out, I have 13 pages left of the novel I'm currently reading, and have been waiting a long time for the book the packet contains. It's so tantalisingly close. I'm going to have to go and cook tea to distract myself.
