It'd be a five star read but the finale makes sense but feels too short? Not satisfying? Just a little flat - though the journey to get there was worth every step of beautiful, thoughtful prose.

Acho que eu mais gostei no primeiro livro de Terramar é que não é uma história de aventura para salvar o mundo. A maior parte do livro é o Ged tentando consertar uma merda muito grande que ele fez, e lidando com as consequências dessa merda.

Still not Tolkien but we are not far from it. I took upon myself to dive into the Earthsea Cycle by Ursula K. Le Guin.
I can't believe that it took me so many years to uncover this gem of the fantasy literature.

The next book on my reading list is The Other Wind (Earthsea #5) - and I keep putting it off.
I never fell in love with Earthsea.
Which makes a bit sad, because so many people whose book opinions I normally agree with adore them.

A cover of Ursula K. Le Guin's The Other Wind, the final book of the Earthsea Cycle. It has orange sky, and is dominated by a red fog/mist with a dragon in it. Finally finished The Other Wind, and thus the whole Cycle. A nice ending that ties everything neatly together. I enjoyed the larger and more varied cast for a change of pace for the series. #Earthsea #booksky
