A Greylag Goose (Anser anser) swimming on rippling green-tinted water. The bird faces right with its long neck extended upward, showing the characteristic grey-brown plumage with a distinctive concertina-fold pattern of barred feathers on the neck. The wings display dark brown and black flight feathers with pale cream-edged scalloping on the back coverts, while the white belly and undertail are clearly visible.
