Whisper, the last of the Echo’s call, is posed with one hand on their hip and one caressing their own face. The story behind their recruitment is a rather sad one… M’akianna was a kind, loving Miqo’te serving in The First along with The Crystal Exarch’s guard. She was able to work herself up towards Lt. rank, and was stationed to oversee Amh Aerang; helping alongside the Oracle of Light. Though the halt of the Flood of Light faltered, M’akianna gave much of her soul, her life to the cause. Accidentally, she stumbled upon a sin eater, begging for her frame as its host. Within said sin eater, lied but a hint of Echo’s void. Calling out to the Keeper, M’akianna’s frame was over taken. Through outcries and pleas for help, her last words were: “I can see now, I can see, I can see…” Echo decided to bring forth this now nightkin towards the first. Not to serve the cause of the calamity, for that was never Echo’s attention. But perhaps to begin a new life for Nightkin and Voidsent alike. One that is realignment and seeking truth in your void like form. Due to M’akianna’s last words, she continued the odd habit of repeating back the words of her counterpart over and over and over until they halted speaking. Her voice would grow ever quieter as she did. This is how she dawned her name: Whisper.
