伊東市の金星シネマで「死刑台のエレベーター」を観る - ちょっとだけ勝手に言わせてもらいます 今日は大雨の中、盟友N氏と伊東市の金星シネマでフランスの巨匠ルイ・マル監督のデビュー作「死刑台のエレベーター」を観てきました。今回初見。1958年公開、モーリス・ロネ、ジャンヌ・モロー出演のクライムノワール。夫に密室殺人を仕掛けた妻とその愛人の顛末が描かれていきます。この映画で最も有名なのが、ジャズの帝王マイルス・デイヴィスの手掛けた音楽で一聴して彼のプレイと判るものです。映像を観ながら即興で作....

この作品はそんな登場人物よりも、マイルスの音楽と先の物語のギミックを楽しむべき作品かと思いました
