The founder of one of the most important printing houses in the Netherlands died #onthisday in 1617. In our online inventory we have several #Elzevier editions, including a copy of the first edition Petrus Scriverius' "Batavia illustrata", published in 1609 by Lodewijk Elzevier himself.
