NYCC members stand with NYS assemblymember khaleel anderson holding signs “support us in the empire act now”. Anderson holds a large symbolic check showing how much the state could raise to help workers who are getting their wages stolen recover the money lost to such frauds by employers. And the state can also raise money to help cover its programs under this bill!

The #EmpireAct would help NY #EndWageTheft by employers, which is rampant and massive.

We rallied and lobbied in Albany today to pass it.

This is NYS Assemblymember Khaleel Anderson, who says it’s time to pass it. We agree!
