Wood Fiber-Based Products: Alternatives to Conventional ICFs
Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs) have become a mainstay in modern construction, providing high-performance insulation, structural strength, and energy efficiency. Traditionally, ICFs have been made from expanded polystyrene (EPS) or extruded polystyrene (XPS), offering lightweight, durable formwork that remains in place after concrete is poured. However, as sustainability takes center stage in building design, alternative materials are being explored. Among these, wood fiber-based ICFs have emerged as a viable, eco-friendly alternative to polystyrene-based options.
