This is more of a psychological, paranormal horror sci-fi. Not only is James Cameron the movie's art director & 2nd unit director, but the movie's set dresser was Bill Paxton. This was obviously before both these men got their breakthrough as a director & an actor. Sid Haig has only one line in this movie & that's because he thought that his dialogue didn't match his character & asked Corman If he could play the character pretty much mute.
