EFR responded to a 3/4-acre grass fire at CR 73 and Malamute Dr on 3/13. Firefighters extinguished the perimeter, dug a handline around it, and cold-trailed the black, which means they felt for heat to make sure the fire was completely out (that's what they're doing in the video). #EverythingforYOU
Weather Report: 3/13 - winds could drop to 10-20 mph, with gusts of 40. Rh will be 12–18%, with temps over 60F.
3/14 - winds of 20–30 mph, with gusts to 50. A cold front may bring snow after midnight and give us all a much-needed break

We frequently get asked, "How many incidents do you get in a day?" It depends on the day, but Feb. 25 EFR responded to 17 emergencies dispatched by Jeffcom 911. That included 7 calls within a 90-minute period. EFR responded promptly to each because that's how we serve YOU. #EverythingforYOU
