#ExSSV gave me what I thought was a preposterous idea, but today it's a preprint on arXiv! There's missing sub-Neptunes in irregularly-spaced Kepler multiplanet systems! Or should I say, "Mind the gap: gap complexity and the radius gap are correlated". arxiv.org/abs/2406.12239
A day to begin resting again after a very full week. Telescope proposals in, #ExSSV complete, and by all reports a good time had by very many people. Happy
And it’s a wrap for #ExSSV! It was such a great conference and I got so much information about exoplanet thrown at me. Will I remember anything other than flatlines?? We shall see…

Hot take: after a whole conference without laser or physical pointers … it’s so much better! At best pointers aren’t doing anything that can’t be achieved with a well designed slide. At worst they’re horribly distracting #ExSSV

At Extreme Solar Systems V today we had a fantastic session on Planets Around White Dwarfs.
I kicked off the session with our exiciting JWST results for WD 1856b's spectrum (currently under review - stay tuned!)
