Soren sitting at her desk in the pendants, the Everlasting Light shining painfully brightly through the window. She hunches over slightly, crying - tears an odd pearly white.
The Exarch looking at the WoL in the Mt Gulg cutscene right after his hood comes off, a pained but kind expression on his face.
Soren kneeling on the ground of the summit, a pained expression on her face as she shouts. She reaches forward towards the Exarch. Radiant blue light emanates from around her to mimic the cutscene where the light nearly overtakes the WoL.

Day 7: Crystal
Due to his crystallization, the seams where crystal meets flesh are extremely sensitive. As an effect of this he has frequent flare ups and pain.
For a lifetime this was all he knew.
Until a certain someone taught him it doesn't need to be so⬇️

Alisaie and Soren sit at a brightly-lit table in Musica Universalis. Alisaie laughs, as she moves from one thought to another, "...and what of the Exarch? I was of the understanding he keeps mostly to himself, but YOU seem to have coaxed him out for regular walks around the garden!" Soren responds animatedly, "All I did was mention how much I enjoyed hearing Bragi's folk tales, and not a day passed before the Exarch was knocking LITERALLY at my door to see if I would be interested in hearing more tales of Norvrandt!"
The viewpoint changes to now focus on Soren, with Alisaie out of focus in the foreground, with the bar area in the background. Alisaie responds, "I would think he has more pressing matters to attend to, but I suppose she (lowers her voice) vaunted Warrior of Darkness is worth a bit of extra effort... even if it looks - and sounds - like a *date*." Soren grins and waves her hand back at Alisaie, "Hey, shush!.... she pauses, "Though now that you say it, I mean, he does have quite a nice voice, I can't help but wonder what his eyes look like under that hood - Alisaie don't look at me like that! You're thinking it too!" She devolves into soft, giggly laughter.
The scene changes to the Exarch, standing in the ocular. He is holding his face, a few tears dripping from behind his cloak. "Oh, Soren..." he groans.
The Exarch is looking at the Ocular portal mirror, which shows an image of Alisaie and Soren talking at the table as seen from above. He continues saying "I would give the world and more to simply lay this secret bare..."

While offering his blood for the spirit vessels, the Exarch, working tirelessly as he was, promptly fainted.
Y'sato took him to his suite, his love still fatigued from the fainting spell so he might regain his strength.

Hey everyone! I was sick most of today so it’s a very late day 5 of #ExarchWeek2025!
NSFW and SFW prompt today: Interrupted!
Soren sitting on the steps of the crystarium with a pained expression on her face, looking upwards towards the crystal tower.
While the Scions recuperated, bodies and souls intact once more, SSoren found she needed time barely afforded to her to process the torrent of emotions in her heart. That was one thing the First could still afford her - was time. A functional time pocket that she could still pop away to. Many, many nights she sat on the steps outside the Crystarium and simply gazed up at the tower. Where she knew he was still standing - and would, forever. She knew she had to take this time - to allow for the contradiction. Of both having... and not. Lyna had not taken long to notice the pattern.
Hopefully this one isn't too far off prompt, but it's a scene I've been thinking of for some time, and wanted to share it.

The Crystal Exarch walks towards Soren's door at the Pendants. "I know her recovery has been going well, but I can't help but feel compelled to check in and ensure she is alright..."
A view of the Exarch's back, gently lit by the lamp. "...and she is all I can think about, despite the work that lies ahead of me."
With a trembling hand, the Exarch hesitates to knock on her door. From behind the door, a gentle rustling and muttering can be heard.
The Exarch steps away, shocked - hand uncurling from being about to knock, as Soren cries out a muffled noise from inside.

Soren smiles at Graha, saying "Exarch... G'raha. After so long in that hood, I cannot begin to imagine what this must be like for you. But you're not alone, yeah? You've got us." She pauses, and continues, "you've got me." In the next frame, Graha responds "Soren, I--! I would be honored..."
Soren reaches out her hand and gently takes G'rahas in hers, pinky wrapped gently around his. "Together, then."
Different angles of Soren and Graha looking at each other as they link hands. The last frame focuses especially on their hands alone, with a tilt shift on the rest of the image.

“You moron.” Y'sato's voice is soft against red hair faded at the tips, his words meant only for the both of them, for the tiniest part that remains, that remembers how it feels to be young and less world-weary and damaged. “You heroic idiot!” There is no hesitation, no hiding how he feels as he hugs G'raha tight, burying his face in his hair. It's a fierce hug. Fiercer than G'raha has ever endured, his ribs creaking from the grip, his face pressed into the crook of Y'sato's neck, his arms pinned tightly to his sides. It's a hug that hurts and yet it's the best hug he has ever had. It has been years, nay, nigh a century since anyone held him like this. He cannot rightly recall the last time he allowed anyone to even get this close. Having this at the end, after everything. It becomes too much. His heart fit to burst, expression crumpling he buries his face further into Y'sato's neck, too exhausted and spent for shame. He chokes back a sob, tears streaking down his cheeks, soaking into Y'sato's scarf as he weeps in earnest. He feels his friend's arms tighten around him ever so slightly, one hand shifting to come to rest at the back of his head, holding him close. Y'sato remains silent, not pressing him. He simply offers him comfort in the only way he knows best, holding him close enough G'raha can feel his body heat seep through his torn robes. Oh how he has longed for this, to be this close, but he ruthlessly pushed it aside, buried his hearts desires so deeply within himself it would never hope to see the light of day, knowing it was never meant to be. Could never be, and yet in this moment as he is being held this close, and by the person he loves more than anything else it's- I...I want to live...To stand by your side. I wish I could I- I love you.
