IMO, districts larger than 100k prevent the rep from being able to understand their constituents.

The redistricting nightmare show keeps reminding me that the House of Representatives should be two or three times its size.
Wyoming has the nation’s lowest population at ~587k, so even 500k per house seat would mean (with the US pop at ~340m) 680 representatives…

If the U.S. House used UK-style apportionment, we’d have 5,015 House members—not 435. Brits get 1 rep per 67k people. We get 1 per 760k. Locked in for almost 100 years. We don’t need term limits—we need fair representation and competitive elections. #ExpandTheHouse #FixDemocracy #Representation
