As Scout have now updated their predictions to cater for those players involved in the transfer window, I thought I’d do an early update of the AI generated Wildcard and Free hit teams.
Just been doing some more analysis on the Scout & Hub Predicted data for the next 6 weeks. As an exercise I decided to combine and average the two data sets.
Note that the odd player (*) is not yet updated in the Scout database.

The tables I’ve posted show the best 10 players in their positions based on Predicted points and Value.

I was strongly considering a free hit myself in GW4, but if the below posts prove anything, it’s that the strongest teams on paper are not guaranteed to win out. I may therefore just stick with my GW3 picks in the hope of a turnaround in fortune.

In a slight twist this week, the Scout AI team that I’ve been running since the start of the season brought home 80 points in GW3, which was much better than the free hit team!

Just posted the results of the free hit teams that I’d generated from Scout and HUB data prior to GW3.
I think it’s safe to say that they are both underwhelming.
That said, the Scout team came out victorious once again making it 2.0 for the season so far.

Just out of interest, I have just posted a comparison of how the proposed free hit teams for GW2 actually faired.
As you can see, the team based on the scout predicted data outscored the team based on the HUB data.

Just posted a wildcard team based on Scout data. As with the Free Hit teams, this one is quite different to the one generated using HUB predicted data. AI here has come up with a Salah, Haaland draft.

Last post was a Wildcard team for GW3 based on HUB predicted data. I've left it in a table format so you can see bench and captain options for the next 6 weeks. It gets a 96% team rating on the HUB.

The team just posted is also a Free hit team for GW3 that scores 100% on the HUB. It's also been generated using my own AI tool but I asked for a 3.5.2 formation which I think is an improvement on the last team posted.
