1652. After a speech in Glasgow by George Fox - the Royal Society of Friends is formed - Quakers. (note - Quakers, aren't actually linked to the company producing the oats).
Up to 1817 in #fplhistory when "Princess Caraboo" appears in Almondsbury in Gloucestershire and convinces the locals she comes from a far-off island kingdom of "Javasu" in the Indian Ocean. After publicity, she is discovered to be a servant girl from the village of Witheridge in Devon.

The Treaty of Edinburgh is signed by England, France and Scotland. This largely ends the Auld Alliance, between France and Scotland, the siege of Leith and the wars between England and Scotland (according to Wiki).
