Just calculated my #FSBIGreenTravel CO2 in case @otolithgirl.bsky.social calculates the total carbon saved for the conference by delegates trying to be greener... I reckon the train and ferry combo (14kg) saves over 100kg CO2 compared to car and plane (125kg) Hull to Belfast.

The #FSBIGreenTravel to #FSBI2025 continues after a pit stop in Bangor, spending a wonderfully raucous evening with dear friend and colleague, Gary Carvalho! Treated to a bounty of vegetarian dishes. Produce which was in the garden 5 mins before. Now a quick train to Holyhead and the ferry awaits!
On my way to #FSBI2025 in Belfast, and my #FSBIGreenTravel is well underway! The first leg involves a journey from #Cardiff to #Bangor. After making my way through a sea of bucket hats, with the aftermath of Oasis' opening night in Cardiff, I'm on one of Transport for Wales' new, greener trains!
