Today I'm giving a talk on gender + aging in Doctor Who as #FSNNA25 and wearing my Starsky & Hutch necklaces to give me strength and comfort

Hanging out virtually at #FSNNA25 for the rest of the week! My first fan studies conference, and it's already been so wonderful to see so many other researchers working on fan cultures!

I do this thing with conferences where after prioritising panels that cover things I'm interested in, I then prioritise going to panels I know very little about. it's helped me get to learn so many new things.
