Today was the last session of the #FabSix Fall/Winter 2025 #writersgroup.

We’ve met every other week since the pandemic: 10 sessions per season. While three writers moved on, three of our OGs remain.

Submitted the last 15 pages to the #FabSix and I’m glad they connected so well to the ending. I loved every piece of writing this. Now, on to the rewrites.

111 pages later, it's fade out for this script. I couldn't be happier. Time to rest.

After a rough couple of weeks at work, with a set of good news that should've gotten me back on track, it was the #FabSix, their notes, and encouragement that got me out of my rut. But I love this script. I just love it.

I didn’t write anything that wasn’t work-related since November and all the way to January. Then, the #FabSix sessions started again. And I haven’t stopped. The lesson is: to surround yourself with talented people who believe in you.

Today, #fabsix #writersgroup then #gallentines. Also, LA folks, why did you not tell me that Alamo Draft House was such a TRIP?! We went to see the LED Zeppelin movie (which was a concert, an origin story and inspirational piece of historical visual art) for our V Day date, and the place is a trip!

Had to take time to acknowledge the #FabSix. It’s always great to read such great pages from great people. If I was excited about this new script before, now I feel like I got something special. Anyways, here’s a picture of today’s outing at Templo Mayor.

It’s Saturday. And the #FabSix are back.

While Los Angeles is still on fire and it’s quite unsettling to learn how many architectural gems, small businesses, and art is gone, I do have a little bit of news: Going on our fifth year, the #fabsix #writersgroup is starting our Winter/Spring session today. 🫶 #screenwriting #writing

Not having the #fabsix meetings really puts a dent in my productivity. I need to finish these projects before the end of the year.

I wrote Meztliapan for a Mexican anthology and workshopped it with the #FabSix. Submitted it for the only two Mexican festivals with screenwriting contests and it's now 2 for 2 with an honorable mention. Now, working on raising money to make it happen.
