Gamechanger for me.
Verwendet hier jemand #ubuntutouch auf dem #Fairphone5 ? Was sind die Alltagshürden? Wie gehen die Banking Apps? Messanger? Öffi Tickets? Ich kämpfe schwer mit mir, ob ich umsteige.
Na 3 jaar eerste onderdeel aan #fairphone5 vervangen . . de USB poort . . ~20 euro . . 6 schroefjes klik uit klik in 6 schroefjes weer er in .. 10 minuten werk
What I used to love about testing Linux was that Windows was installed and you could install Linux alongside it. So you could try it out or switch over at any time.
I'd love to have something like that for my Android Fairphone and @postmarketOS or @e_mydata or @LineageOS .

I can feel a reinstall of #PostmarketOS on #Fairphone5 coming....screen sometimes switches off and doesn't want to come back on. And I hear that others have audio. I want that too.

@vicgrinberg I more and more get the feeling that I bought into a testbed with the #Fairphone5.
It's not a bad phone per se it's just underwhelming in almost all aspects.
Recently huge progress was made and we got the first audio coming out of the Fairphone 5 speaker, @bshah and @z3ntu even got call audio working!

Installation von #UbuntuTouch auf einem #Fairphone5 hat funktioniert.
Wichtig: Vor der Installation muss auf dem Fairphone Android 13 installiert sein. Bei Android 14/15 funtioniert nach der Installation von UT das WLAN nicht.
Mühsam, aber wenn man es weiss kein Problem.
