I hate that her ex is such a douche. I also hate that she hides his crazy from pretty much everyone. That said, I do like that she doesn't want to create drama and reaches out to James with a plan to try to discourage Darrell's attention. It works until it doesn't. The one thing that I am really disappointed with is James's actions after an incident towards the end. It is beyond childish at a time when he's supposed to be proving that he's deserving of the accolades and that he's the better guy. Instead, he proves the opposite. This undoubtedly impacted my rating. I listened to the audio book. The narrators are Olu Sade and Kyle Adams. I believe this is my first time listening to both voice actors. I like them and would definitely listen to them again. 🎧🩷🎧 Story: 3.5 stars Narration: 4 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x H & h = 21
