Missed a couple of #52Ancestors weeks again so catching up. One was #FamilyHeirloom. I have a few including a sewing box that my granddad made my nan. I'm sure if he hadn't died unexpectedly young I would have had my own in time. I did have a hobby horse and other bits though he made.

This piece of linen was hand woven by my great grandmother on the family farm in #Lithuania. She sewed her initials “ZD” on it & the # 1, so we assume it’s part of a set.
It’s lightly stained but in remarkably good condition. We figure it’s about 150 years old. 👇🏻
