#Cystinosis is the leading genetic cause of Fanconi syndrome in children.

Interpretation: When doctors see #FanconiSyndrome in kids, cystinosis is the top genetic suspect. In Oliver's case a genetic test confirmed the issue.

Did you know individuals with Cystinosis usually present with Fanconi Syndrome? We call it Oliver's "bum kidneys" or "leaky kidneys" he has a hard time reabsorbing certain nutrients and has to have CONSTANT access to water. 🚰
