The Wall (Lasiommata megera) is today's #FebruaryButterflyMonth butterfly. Here's a photo of a rather uncooperative one from last summer in Gredos, Spain, nectaring at just over 1,520 metres (around 5000ft) above sea level. Higher than Ben Nevis, the highest point in the UK!

So apparently today it's the turn of the Marsh Fritillary in #FebruaryButterflyMonth. Here's one from #Extremadura, SW Spain last year.
Sadly lost from Oxfordshire, though @UpperThamesBC amongst many others are working on a reintroduction at #RSPB #Otmoor.
