🪷 November 13th is the feast of #Feronia, goddess of wildlife, feral stray animals and escaped or freed slaves. As liberator of slaves and freedmen, she is worshiped in rural wilderness sanctuaries. Her festival, the #Feroniae, is celebrated during the Plebeian Games (Ludi Plebeii). 🪷
