Archaeology field school students from Virtual Curation Laboratory at VCU visited on Friday. They 3D-scanned a few artifacts in our collection, and we put them to work assisting with a cleaning of my ham case. @foundingmonsters.bsky.social #fieldtripfriday #futuremuseumprofessionals

#FieldtripFriday revisited. In 1975 I visited this unconformity on the north side of Loch Assynt where #Torridonian sandstones and conglomerates overlie #Lewisian gneiss.
I even spotted the ledge I climbed onto to point out the unconformity surface to my classmates.
