Just finished 8MM. Proper grim watch that sticks to your ribs. Not one for a cosy watch. But Nicolas Cage and James Gandolfini are seriously good. Whole cast brings it. I need something lighter now, maybe a cartoon and a strong drink!

I just watched I Like Movies and the nostalgia? Immaculate. The banter? So good. But the main character… absolutely insufferable. I wanted to shake him through the screen 😭 Cool vibes, painful protagonist. Not for me.

Watched Lou and honestly? I stayed for Alison Janney. She’s doing the heavy lifting while the rest just… exists. If you’re in, it’s for her. 🎯🎬

Waking Life feels like drifting through a lucid dream—rotoscoped animation, big ideas, and conversations that linger long after the screen fades. 🌀🎥

Sinners, Bed Jail™, and the Door You Don’t Open Sinners isn’t jump-scare horror. It’s doorways and choices. It’s the cost of invitation, the weight of survival, and the grief of remembering who you are when the sunlight is gone forever. Watched from Bed Jail™ with my service dog on watch, it became less about vampires and more about boundaries, consent, and the kind of horror that lingers long after the credits roll.

Watched Sinners from Bed Jail™ and haven’t stopped thinking about it since.
Not jump-scare horror. Doorways, consent, grief, and the cost of survival.
Five stars. Still hurts. 🩸🕯️

Just watched Jay Kelly. 🎬 A bit too much sentimentality and felt like another entry in the current trend of romanticizing old Hollywood. Not on my short list this year.

Did enjoy Mr. Sandler in it however, and their relationship at the end.

The Life of Chuck (2024) isn’t about the plot — it’s about the feeling. The film invites you to reflect on memory, loss, and what it means to live a life worth remembering. Moody, surreal, and quietly emotional. #TheLifeOfChuck #StephenKing #FilmThoughts

Top Gun: Maverick [Insert Wingman Here] I wanted to like Top Gun: Maverick. I liked the first half just fine. And I genuinely admire that the filmmakers found a way to include Val Kilmer, tailoring the role of Iceman to accommodate the a…

Top Gun: Maverick wants to be a legacy sequel. What it becomes is a $170M nostalgia mirage. Kilmer’s inclusion should’ve been the heart of the film. Instead, we get green screens and ghosted emotions.

Watching Joker 2. Visually stunning, emotionally chaotic — and honestly, kind of hits different when your own mental health’s hanging by a thread.

Why did they make Space Jam 2 instead of Space Slam starring John Cena, where the Looney Tunes recruit Cena to battle aliens in an intergalactic smackdown? The twist? The aliens recruit The Rock!
