evoke reiterates FY25E revenue growth guidance of 5-9% Investing.com -- evoke plc has reiterated its expectations for fiscal year 2025 revenue growth in the range of 5-9%, which aligns with the company’s medium-term framework and current market expectations. The company also confirmed its forecast for Adjusted EBITDA margins of at least 20.0% for FY25E. This guidance exceeds the current market consensus and Jefferies estimates, which both stand at 19.4%. Based on the lower end of the revenue growth guidance range (5%), the implied EBITDA would be approximately 3% higher than the current consensus estimate of £358 million and Jefferies’ projection of £359 million. For the first half of 2025, evoke expects Adjusted EBITDA to be between £163 million and £167 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 43% at the mid-point. This would result in last twelve months (LTM) EBITDA exceeding £360 million. The current FactSet consensus for evoke’s revenue growth is 5%, matching Jefferies’ estimate. Accelleron raises FY25 revenue guidance after strong H1 growth Investing.com -- Accelleron Industries AG (SIX:ACLN) on Tuesday raised its full-year revenue guidance following exceptionally strong first-half growth of 20.1% in constant currency. The company now expects total revenue to increase by 16-19% in constant currency for fiscal year 2025, up from its previous forecast of 4-6%. This new guidance represents a significant upgrade, with the mid-point of the target range sitting 10% above consensus estimates. Accelleron’s first-half revenues reached $608.0 million, representing a 20.1% year-over-year increase in constant currency (20.3% nominal). The strong performance was driven by continued market share gains in turbochargers and high market demand for marine services, especially retrofits, as well as for backup, balancing, and prime power applications. The company expects positive momentum in the marine and energy markets to continue in the second half of 2025, assuming no significant negative changes to the current U.S. tariff regime. Despite raising its revenue outlook, Accelleron maintained its guidance for operational EBITA margin at 25-26%, implying $306 million at the mid-point. Accelleron shares have rallied over 60% since April and currently trade at CHF57.30, with a price target of CHF49.00, representing a potential 14% downside. The stock is currently trading at 24 times EV/EBITA or 33 times P/E for FY25 estimates. This article was generated with the support of AI and reviewed by an editor. For more information see our T&C. Pakistan economy to grow 2.7% in FY25, economic survey shows ISLAMABAD (Reuters) -Pakistan’s economy is likely to expand 2.7% in the fiscal year ending June 2025 after growing 2.5% during the previous year, the government’s economic survey showed on Monday, a day before the country’s federal budget is unveiled. The government initially targeted 3.6% GDP growth, but lowered it to 2.7% last month. The IMF expects real GDP to grow by 2.6% in FY25 and for the economy to grow 3.6% in FY26. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government aims for 4.2% GDP growth next year, the country’s planning minister said last week, amid competing priorities, including stimulating investment, maintaining a primary surplus, and managing defence expenditure amid heightened tensions with India. Pakistan’s central bank, in a bid to encourage growth, cut its policy rate by more than 1,000 basis points in the current fiscal year. Its latest cut last month brought the key rate to 11%, resuming an easing cycle that had brought rates down from 22% after a brief pause in March. Pakistan had a current account surplus of $1.9 billion in the July to April period of the current fiscal year compared to a deficit of $200 million in the same period last year, the survey showed. “Pakistan’s economy has been globally acknowledged for achieving macroeconomic stabilisation in the outgoing fiscal year,” Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said in his foreword to the survey. “Pakistan is consistently advancing on an upward trajectory, built upon investment friendly reforms, enhanced domestic savings, and increased foreign direct investment, with GDP growth projected at 5.7 percent over the medium term,” he said. The economic survey, a key pre-budget document, comes at a time when Pakistan’s economy is stabilising but remains fragile as the country navigates reforms under a $7 billion International Monetary Fund programme. Pakistan’s federal budget for the next fiscal year starting July will be released on Tuesday. The government’s total revenue for the first three quarters of the current year stood at 13.37 trillion rupees, the survey showed. Increasing revenue to trim the fiscal deficit, a key demand of the IMF programme, is considered challenging for Islamabad. Inflation was seen at 4.6% for the year. Tariffs seen helping narrow U.S. budget deficit in 2025 fiscal year - Wells Fargo Investing.com - The U.S. budget deficit for the current fiscal year is expected to narrow modestly compared to 2024, thanks in part to an expected uptick in tariff revenues and spring tax collections, according to analysts at Wells Fargo. In a note to clients, the analysts led by Michael Pugliese predicted that the federal budget deficit -- which occurs when the government spends more than what it receives from revenues -- will come in at $1.70 trillion. This would be slightly narrower than the $1.83 trillion logged in 2024. Earlier this month, U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled punishing tariffs on both friends and adversaries alike, partly arguing that the move is necessary to help boost government coffers. Trump has since partially paused these elevated duties on many countries for 90 days, during which time Washington is aiming to secure dozens of trade deals with individual nations. The White House has also announced temporary exemptions for some tech products like smartphones and computers. However, the Trump administration has moved to make China the central target of an intensifying trade war, slapping tariffs of up to 145% on the world’s second-largest economy. Beijing has responded with 125% tariffs on U.S. imports, exacerbating worries of an intensifying trade war. A 10% universal levy and separate import taxes on items like aluminum, steel and autos remain in effect as well. "[C]ustoms receipts have not yet surged despite the imposition of major new tariffs by the Trump administration," the Wells Fargo analysts noted. "That said, we think this is simply a timing issue, and we expect tariff revenues to rise dramatically in the coming months." They estimated that new tariff revenue will climb to $20 billion per month starting in May, up from about $7 billion per month collected in 2024. Economists have warned that the tariffs could weigh on fuel inflationary pressures in the U.S. and weigh on broader economic activity, while businesses have flagged that the levies are making it difficult to plan out future investment decisions. The Wells Fargo analysts said they expect the federal budget deficit to widen to $2.0 trillion next year, or about 6.4% of domestic output, partially citing a "weaker U.S. economy." Proposed tax cuts and spending increases to some parts of the federal government are also seen only partially offsetting plans to slash outlays in other programs, they added.
