I love that Peggy Nolan is kept so mysterious. You don't know where or why she's going. You're not quite sure why she's so looked down on by other classes of people, you're left to guess. And she seems so sad, so lonely all those times she's trying to connect with people. #FiveCameBack #TCMParty

Apparently RKO originally purchased the story for Five Came Back with Cary Grant in mind. At certain points Victor McLaglen and Charles Coburn were considered for the cast. If Ann Sothern hadn't been unavailable, you'd have seen her as Peggy Nolan instead of Lucille Ball. #FiveCameBack #TCMParty

One of the first B movies I ever saw – I suspect on the Late Late Show sometime in the ‘70s. It instantly became one of my favorite classic films. I showed it to Philip soon after we met, and he adored it too; we revisit it every few years. Brilliantly taut and suspenseful. #FiveCameBack #TCMParty
